Noah Hathorn Raises Awareness and Funds

Noah
Hathorn is currently eight years old, lives in Pell City and has been
fighting ITP since the age of five. After his mom Brandi learned of
Casey, and talked to Noah about her, Noah decided to do things on his
own! Brandi presented information about ITP, Noah’s case, and Casey’s
Cause to the faculty of his school, and the teachers decided to add
Casey’s Cause to their “Make a Change” fund raiser. The students were
asked to bring in their loose change and were allowed to choose between
Casey’s Cause and March of Dimes as their charity. Noah also set up a
table near the bus line to sell C.C. bracelets everyday before school.
Through Noah’s efforts, approximately $175 was raised For Casey’s
Cause. We commend Noah for his efforts!
Noah also competed in our 5k and placed 2nd in his age group! |
