Casey’s Cause participates in Kids Fest at McWane Center

| Members
of the board of directors of Casey’s Cause manned a booth at KidsFest
held at the McWane Center in Birmingham. KidsFest is an open-to-all day
with vendors exhibiting party planning, summer camps, learning
facilities and educational activities. We passed out information about
ITP while displaying brochures from PDSA, our own pamphlet, and the
video of Casey and ITP. Race registration forms were also available.
Board members had also assembled information and put together a “Faces
of ITP” display to show children affected by ITP in the Alabama area.
We feel our participation was a successful effort towards our mission
of awareness, although we may never know just how many were or will be
affected by it. |
