Math-A-Thon to Benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital

Jared
Dunavant, a sixth grader at Heritage Elementary School in Madison,
Alabama is currently fighting ITP. He was diagnosed two years ago, and
continues to need medications and treatments which he receives at St.
Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Huntsville. Jared trained for the 5k and
came in fourth for his age group!
Jared and his mom Traci were
instrumental in coordinating a Math-A-Thon between Heritage and West
Madison elementary schools. The participating students competed to
raise over $14,000 for St. Jude’s Hospital. We congratulate Jared for
his efforts to help others! |
